Sound Sultan AKA Naija Ninja held a christening ceremony for his newly born child on Sunday which was delivered by his wife 'Chinwe' on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. The baby happens to be their third child together.

The christening took at his house in Lagos and it was attended by some of his colleagues in the music industry.
The boy's name is Abdul-Khaliq Olanrewaju Abidemi.

According to The Vanguard the APAPA /OSHODI expressway has literally been shutdown since Friday with yesterday being the most agonizing for motorists.

Police Arrest 6 Christians In Enugu For Destroying Pagan Shrines in their Community

The police in Enugu State say six persons have been arrested over their alleged involvement in the burning down of shrines in Umuaji, Ezeagu Local Government Area.

Vanguard reports that the suspects, members of the Indigenous Christians of Umuaji, carried out the act during their special crusade.

The group reportedly claimed that the burnt shrines were responsible for the backwardness of their community and her indigenes, adding that they had the approval of the natives to destroy the shrines as part of spiritual cleansing of the area.

Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Award is approaching near and the officials have revealed the shortlist for the AMVCA, to give the opportunity to fans to choose their favourite one.

This year Lagos, on March 8, will host the second edition of the AMVCA which includes the famous Movie stars and actress, like Osita Iheme, Nse Ikpe Etim, Jackie Appiah and Yvonne Okoro, in the different categories.

Important Notice To All OOU Students Including Freshers

Students granted concession to pay 60% of the 2012/2013 Academic Session School fees have been directed to pay the remaining balance of 40% with immediate effect.

In the same vein, fresh students offered admission into the University for 2013/2014 Academic Session are to pay their acceptance fee with immediate effect as any student who fails to indicate acceptance by payment of the required fees will forfeit such admission.

Also, all students whose spill-over courses comes up in the Rain Semester should comply with the following guidelines:

i.Obtain notes from their Heads of Department stating courses to be taken this semester.

ii.Take notes from their Heads of Department to the Bursar for clearance.

iii.After clearance, print out their payment profiles, and

iv.Go to POS and pay their fees. Affected students are to comply with these directives in their own interest.

In a recent interview with Punch, Psqaure revealed how they share and manage their music career as brothers and the fact that they don't intend going solo.

 Peter said: 

Never! We are happy and we share 50-50 of everything. If we do an album now and I am responsible for all the jobs, Paul would still get his 50 per cent. Sometimes, I would write a song and sing the first verse. Paul’s voice may not be good for that second verse but you won’t be able to tell the difference. The only person who may push us to go solo is our mother and that is not going to be possible.
