Three persons have been killed following
the collapse of two residential buildings
on Lagos Island.
The General Manager of the Lagos State
Emergency Management Agency,
LASEMA, Doctor Femi Oke-Osanyintolu
said two bodies have been retrieved from
the rubble while ten people rescued have
been taken to hospital for treatment.
He said a three-storey building located on
Alli Street, collapsed on a bungalow
beside it.
Oke-Osanyintolu said the house was
marked for demolition three years ago by
Lagos State Government officials.
