Ashley Cole charged by the FA

Cole called the FA a “bunch of twats” on his tweeter fan page as the evidence was interrogated by the disciplinary commission which was conducting an investigation into claims that his Chelsea teammate John Terry abused QPR defender Anton Ferdinand.
The England national team left-back deleted the tweet later, but as it was re-tweeted more than
19,000 times, he immediately made a full apology.
Ashley Cole charged by the FA The FA took action and did not stop; in addition the disciplinary proceedings were already taken by his club. Cole is given the time till Thursday to respond to the charges as he will be in England’s squad for Friday’s World Cup qualifier against San Marino.
The FA said in a statement:

“Chelsea FC’s Ashley Cole has been charged by The FA in relation to a Twitter comment which was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute.”
