Maradona is nowadays in Algeria to be a part in an award ceremony for the country’s best player, where he will join with by Pepe Reina, Rivaldo and Javier Zanetti.
Maradona said these words in an interview with an Algerian newspaper Le Buteur, he said,
“Messi has been injured a lot this year, Cristiano Ronaldo should win this Ballon d’Or”.
Previous Barcelona payer Rivaldo also backed Ronaldo:
“Personally I hope Messi wins the trophy, but it should be admitted that Ronaldo deserves it”.
Maradona, managed his Argentina from 2008 to 2010, played for Barcelona and Napoli during his well-known career.
