The casket containing the remains of
Chief Olusegun Agagu (former
Governor of Ondo State and Aviation
Minister) has been recovered from
the crashed Akure bound plane.
Our reporter confirmed that she saw
the casket intact when it was
brought from the aircraft this
afternoon.
The black box (which has details of
the flight and voice recordings) has
also been recovered.
The Associated Airlines’ plane came
down this morning shortly after its
take off from Lagos airport (Murtala
Mohammed International Airport’s
domestic wing).
Speculations are rife about the
identities of passengers, but we
await the manifest and official
confirmation.
