ASUU Update: FG/ASUU Signs Agreement, Strike To Be Suspended Next Week

The contentious agreement delaying the end to the 6months strike by Academic Staff Union of Universities has eventually been signed. The Federal government and ASUU signed the affirmation this afternoon. Report got from our sources has it that ASUU leader, Nassir Fagge has declared that the six months old strike, which has paralysed the public universities system will be called off by next week having signed the agreement ASUU leader, Dr. Nasir Fagge, who signed the agreement on behalf of the union, confirmed to reporters that the strike would be called off next week following agreement signed by both parties.
Fagge said the MoU contained all the claims presented by the union.
