NSA can Spy iPhone via Spyware Software

A document revealed on Monday showed that the USA security agency NSA is capable of installing spyware in all iPhones and can access to user data. The spyware can access to user data from long distance including text messages, contacts and even it can locate a user by cell tower information.

According to sources, the NSA iPhone-spyware is named as “DROPOUTJEEP” is an agency’s controversial electronic surveillance, which started in October 2008. The NSA would need physical access
to install spyware program in iPhone.

A German Magazine, Der Spiegel, which also published the news about the DROP OUT JEEP, reported that the NSA redirected the delivery of iPhones in order to install the software, before they went out in customer’s hands.

A while back there were some speculations from Edward Snowden that Apple may have willingly allowed the NSA to access user products.

However, Apple has denied it and said, “We do not provide any government agency with direct access to our servers, and any government agency requesting customer content must get a court order.”
