Africa’s richest man and Africa’s most enigmatic, most respected, Aliko Dangote decides on the last day of 2013 to join the rest of the mere mortals on the social network.
His handle is @
AlikoDangote. And, he had barely joined, before he was verified by Twitter.

And for the first 6 people the chairman of the Dangote Group followed are Jack Welch, Jeff Immelt & Bill Gates, Gordon and Sarah Brown.

And within hours of joining, he's already had over 1,200 followers.
